SUMMARY OF TASKS:

Conduct, maintain, test and repair electrical/electronic and pneumatic systems and components. Ensure that work is performed in accordance with relevant codes

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• install, modify, and maintain electrical/electronic systems, instrumentation, wiring and equipment such as VFD’s, Pressure and temperature transmitters
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic equipment including but not limited to programmable controls, industrial networks, power supplies, drives, gauges, pressure transmitters and test equipment
• Setup and Calibrate instrumentation such as Flowmeters, level transmitters, pressure sensors and Conductivity sensors
• Maintain and update electrical drawings and maintenance records for equipment
• Perform equipment maintenance, as required to keep the process running.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Well-developed troubleshooting skills on machine and instrument level
• Thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes
• Ability to read and comprehend instructional manuals, instruction sheets, technical data and drawings
• Ability to understand, interpret and maintain electrical drawings,
• PLC experience (use PLC code to troubleshoot issues)
• Knowledge of PLC Hardware and wiring of Cards and I/O
• Industrial networking knowledge of all applicable networks. (Ethernet, ControlNet, Devicenet, RIO, DH+, CANBUS, Profibus and other plant related networks
• Experienced working with AC and DC power and control systems
• Has strong communication skills and capable of working in collaboration with a team.
