The financial analyst will be responsible for the preparation and processing of accounting information more specifically related to plant operations activities. The financial analyst will analyze and interpret accounting information.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, analysis and reports on costs;• Act as a contact person for all assigned plants, guide and coach administrative personnel with respect to accounting activities; • Collaborate with all assigned facilities for the preparation of annual budgets;• Identify trends in the cost of milk and all ingredients related to manufacturing;• Prepare financial and production statistics;• Perform other related ad-hoc duties as assigned.
• University degree in accounting. CPA title or in process of obtention;• Have a minimum of two (2) years experience in accounting; • Management accounting experience in the manufacturing sector (asset);• Bilingualism (spoken and written) is essential;• Very good proficiency in Excel;• Knowledge of BI, Maestro and SAP (asset);• Good sense of organization and planning;• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously;• Willingness to travel occasionally, travel is regularly Canada wide but is currently limited during COVID-19.
