• Responsible for set up, start up and the operation of bag/carton filling equipment, includes caser/stacker area-ensuring case supply to caser equipment and conveyers are properly working The candidate needs to be available Monday to Saturday for the evening shift (3:15pm to 1:45am).
• Input and receive data from computer terminal• Maintain quality control checks of codes, seals and weights• Regular cleaning of associated work area and equipment operated • Report mechanical failures and repair minor breakdowns• Supports and maintains Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. quality standards.• Other duties as assigned• A competitive salary starting wage of $20.68/hour• Schedules are Monday to Saturday 7am to 3:45pm or 3:15pm to 1:45am
• Grade 12 education• Mechanically inclined• Working knowledge in food or dairy environment• Forklift Licensed preferred• Basic computer knowledge would be an asset• Must be a person who can multi-task and enjoys working in a dynamic environment• A high commitment level and a team player who works well with everyone• Can easily assume additional responsibility as required• Quick at assessing the facts and making a sound decision• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
