Under the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Coordinator ensures the planning, scheduling and coordination of maintenance tasks. This involves inventorying equipment and resources, purchasing parts and supplies, developing and updating documentation and procedures, all in accordance with established standards. In addition, he will contribute to project management for the plant.
• Plan, schedule and coordinate the execution of work to be performed according to established priorities and the availability of labour, equipment and materials required to achieve objectives;• Develop, correct and update tasks and procedures related to maintenance and technical data; • Follow-up on the inventory of equipment, parts and resources;• Perform material purchases and monitors service agreements;• Frequently communicate work progress and projects to the people concerned;• Apply the standards required according to the various legislations in force in the areas of OHS, environment, food safety, electrical and building codes in Quebec;• Provide technical assistance for maintenance activities as required;• Collaborate in the analysis of breakdowns, participate in the search for causes and the implementation of solutions to increase the efficiency of the company;• Ensure that planned work and improvement activities are completed on time and within budget;• Coordinate the work of subcontractors;• Contribute to the achievement of the company's objectives in compliance with the policies and standards in force;• Perform all other related duties;
• Post-secondary education in a related field (instrumentation, control, electromechanics, automation);• Possess 10 years of relevant experience in a similar position (food industry, an asset);• Knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, vapor treatment and power electricity systems (an asset);• Mastering computer tools (Office Suite);• Demonstrate excellent analytical capability; • Be proactive and have excellent work planning and organization skills;• Possesses strong communication and negotiation skills; • Bilingualism (French & English, written and spoken), an asset.
