Reporting to the Director, Corporate Taxation, the Senior Advisor, Transfer Pricing will be primarily responsible for transfer pricing compliance for all subsidiaries of Saputo (Canada, U.S., Australia, UK and Argentina among others), as well as transfer pricing planning and audit defense in collaboration with the Director.
• Preparation and update of the Transfer Pricing documentation for multiple transactions and jurisdictions, as well as the Country-by-Country reporting;• Review and analysis of the documentation prepared by external consultants;• Understanding different business arrangements and transactions and assessing their impact on establishing transfer prices;• Gathering necessary financial and non-financial information and liaising with the personnel from various operating subsidiaries;• Calculations of the management fees and fees in relation to other intercompany transactions;• Preparation and update of the intercompany agreements;• Review of T-106 forms in Canada, 5472 in the U.S. as well as relevant forms in Australia and other countries;• Help develop and implement transfer pricing models and policies;• Assistance on transfer pricing planning; • Collaboration and support on issues arising from transfer pricing audit;• Preparation of quarterly and annual statistical reports;• Research on transfer pricing and other relevant subjects;• Perform functional and risk analyses;• Other duties as assigned.
• 2 - 4 years of experience in transfer pricing with an accounting firm or industry, applied economics or economic consulting;• Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or a similar field;• Bilingual (English, French) with excellent written knowledge of English;• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to multitask;• Detail-oriented;• Experience with an accounting software and/or working knowledge of SAP is an asset;• Accounting designation (CPA) is an asset;• Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Power Point).
